Recitals at the Academy
Our recitals are the perfect venue for you or your child to show family and friends the results of months of learning and practice. Our recitals are organized and designed to eliminate "stage fright" and help performers build self-esteem.
At our music recitals, students get exposed to new musical styles and instruments. The recitals help students stay motivated, encouraged and interested by seeing the progress of their peers.
We hold more recitals each year than any other studio in Cedar Rapids and Marion. We pride ourselves on making them the lowest stress, most enjoyable events you will experience.
Our recitals will provide your family with great memories that will last for a lifetime. Call us today and soon your whole family will be enjoying music in a whole new way.

Outdoor Recital Tips
Arrive 15 minutes before the recital to find your place to set up in one of the pre-marked spaces in the parking lot. We ask family groups to allow a minimum of six feet distance between yourselves and nearby family groups.
Bring lawn chairs for seating for everyone in your family! Performers will sit with their family both before & after performing.
Bring sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
We encourage you to bring your own food & beverages to enjoy during the recital! (There won't be a reception afterwards, due to COVID-19 concerns.)
There is no charge for the music recitals, but we do ask that you bring a non-perishable food donation for the food bank.
Since these recitals will be outdoor performances, students are welcome to wear casual clothes appropriate for outdoor summer weather! Pianists, remember to wear shoes that will work well with our Clavinova keyboard's pedals.
We will be disinfecting the keyboard and music stand between performers.
